The Linkrunner team
What I did
I joined Linkrunner back in March 2026 as a founding sales hire and have been a one man army since then. When I joined we were at $15k ARR and all of this revenue was inbound so the entire sales playbook had to be built from scratch and to make it even worse the founders themselves had no prior experience selling the product. I sold Linkrunner to primarily D2C and B2C companies including the likes of the biggest banks in the country and 20% of the top 100 fastest growing apps in the country. With time the need for another hand came in and I then built the entire sales playbook for the company and made repeatable processes. I made multiple internal tools which help us streamline lead sourcing to reaching out + post demo motion.
Challenges
I think one of the most difficult parts about selling an analytical platform was the fact that we were going against companies who have been in the market for almost 20 years and had over 80% market share, companies were not willing to believe that we built a product with the same capabilities and better AI features, we struggled a lot to solve for credibility till we got our first big logos.
What I learned
I think Linkrunner gave me the definition of what a healthy “company culture” and a “good” product looks like. I believe that I was fortunate enough to work under founders who gave me the room to experiment and still stood by me even after 2 weeks of poor sales performance. I understood how to take interviews, how to offload the context to some other team member and honestly how a company actually runs in reality. In terms of what I learned technically, I got the crux of doing outbound that you have to keep trying even if you got rejected on your first 40-50 attempts because you never know when can the next one turn out to be a $100k deal.
Results
I took the company from $15,000 of ARR in March to now at $400,000. I did it through cold calls, cold emails, and LinkedIn. I have had a 5% reply rate on email, a 30% reply rate on LinkedIn, and cold calls also work. Around 20 customers make up for the $400,000. We are growing 40% month over month.
